Kimi ni todoke

This is one of the best love stories ever. It keeps your attention and always keep you wondering what will happen next. Your stress levels will definitely go sky high with this anime, but it will always make you feel better in the end.

Kimi ni todoke is about a high school girl who has no real friends and doesn't stand out much in the classroom. Her name is Sawako but people call her sadako (like the chick from the scary Japanese movie The ring) because she's gloomy and scary looking. They think if you sit next to her or talk to her, you'll be cursed.

So she isn't the most popular girl until... The most popular boy starts giving her attention and her whole world turns around. She starts making friends and start talking normally to people. And even develops a crush on this popular boy.

But things doesn't always go so well with popular boys. There will always be trouble.

There are two seasons. The first is 25 episodes and the second 12 episodes.
This is one of the first anime of it's style. They tried to keep the drawing style as close to the manga as they can get and I think it came out pretty nice.

I will rate this anime ***** (5) stars and it is in my top 10 anime and definitely a must see.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood

I Have finally finished FMA Brotherhood and it is more amazing than the first one. Brotherhood is based on the Manga but FMA was brought out before Brotherhood.
I have always thought that FMA is better but now that I have finished Brotherhood, I must say that it is by far the best Anime and my nr. 1.

If you don't know this Anime or don't like it; I shun you now. It is well done and has an amazing story line. It's funny, sad, serious, basically everything is combined to make this Anime amazing. And if you don't believe me, then go watch it yourself coz I'm not going to ruin everything by writing about it.
I will rate this Anime ***** stars! :)

a Cartoon...?!

I have recently undated my Anime list and have absorbed many new Anime. But I have also discovered something that has nothing to do with Anime and is, in fact, a cartoon; Adventure time.
This is one of the most exciting, cute, weirdest cartoon I have ever seen.  

It's about Jake the dog and Finn the human who goes on adventures together. Jake is a dog that can talk and use magic, and his specialty is to stretch and way he wants. Finn is just a plain human in a magical world that likes kicking butt and playing with his sword.
The antagonist of this story is mostly the Ice King. He always steals princess' for him to marry and then Finn and Jake comes to the rescue.

I'm Back...

Yay! I have finally gotten my internet back so it's back to posting and talking about Anime!

I really wanted to go through this Anime because everybody was making a fuss about it. So I got the Anime and watched both seasons and frankly, I actually liked it!
Code Geass is a story of passionate revenge with a science fictional twist. Lelouch, the main character wants revenge for his mother that was killed and his sister that was badly injured, but he can't do anything about it. After a a few years have passed, he gets mixed into a situation where he is threatened to be killed by the government and he meets up with a woman called CC. Lelouch survived this incident and walks away with a brand new power, a power that he decides to use against the government to get his revenge. Oh!, and did I mention he is a former prince of this government he's trying to destroy? And his best friend is the one that's trying to stop him and he works for the government... Juicy, isn't it?
Well throughout the first season he teams up with CC and the local rebellion and work against the government, but he never shows his face to his comrades or the public, in order to keep his daily life intact and to keep his younger sister save from any harm.
The only thing that bothered me of the first season is that it was a bit boring and repetitive, so it took me a while to finish the first season. But! When I got to the second season, it was overly amazing! I was drawn into the story the whole time and I couldn't predict what was going to happen next. The ending was the best for me because it just ended so perfectly. I cried my eyes out...

This is definitely a must watch Anime!!    

I haven't posted in a while coz I have been rapidly trying to finish all my new Anime.

One of the Anime I watched was called Ano Hana. 

It's about a group of friends, each very different than the other, who suffers the loss of one of their friends; Menma. After her death, everybody grew up and grew apart. All of them feeling guilty for her death and suffering in their own way.

The leader of this group, Jin-tan, suffers the most because, right before Menma's death, he said something horrible to her and ran away because of it. Menma, feeling bad as well, ran after him and fell down a hill and died.

But now Jin-tan is older and still suffering the loss of his first love, Menma decides to pay him a visit. So Jin-tan starts seeing the ghost of Menma. He, along with his old team, tries to figure out why Menma is here and What here dying wish was in order to help her go to heaven.

Throughout the story, each member tells how Menma affected their live and why they all feel guilty. 

It's a really sad story, I bawled my eyes out in the end. It's not your typical Anime story line, and that's what make it so interesting to watch.

I love this type of style it's drawn in! You can do so much more with this type of style and it's very colorful.

Ano hana only has 11 episodes but it's definitely worth the watch.

Yay! I got new Anime I can watch and so far it's really good Anime. My list is improving, getting longer and longer :) 

My goal is to watch 500 Anime in the next few years (coz it would be impossible to do that in just a year so I spread it out a bit).

All Real Anime fans has to have an Anime goal, like 'I want that poster so I'm saving up for it'. It doesn't matter what type of goal it is, just as long as you have one, your a true Anime fan!
